UA Legal Clinic

The Transactional Clinic is a service of the University of Arkansas School of Law. The Transactional Clinic provides counseling and representation of non-profit organizations serving Northwest Arkansas.

“Services include startup, incorporation, obtaining federal and state tax exemptions, change of business form, purchase and lease of real and personal property, employment and labor law issues, and general contract negotiation, drafting and execution. In addition, students may prepare and participate as presenters in workshops on matters of general interest to non-profit organizations.

Legal Clinic Faculty supervise and review the student attorneys’ work, and provide personal feedback to the individual student attorneys.”

United Ways of Northwest Arkansas

United Ways of Northwest Arkansas – Comprised of the United Way of Benton County and the United Way of Washington County, United Ways of Northwest Arkansas provides services to Northwest Arkansas through VolunteerNWA.org, a volunteer “clearinghouse” that matches volunteers with organizations in need of assistance for long-term projects as well as one-time opportunities.
